Requirements
- Previous experience of working within Procurement
- Be able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to work as part of team as well as individually when required.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the procurement of allocated commodities at the lowest costs consistent with material requisitions, departmental and project requirements and at correct delivery within the scheduled time limit.
- Responsible of issuing Request for Quotation for the supply of material of a Project and of obtaining competitive quotations in a timely manner.
- Evaluate all factors involved, and negotiate lowest price and requested delivery
- Able to work in a demanding environment, where the ability to prioritise activities is paramount.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills are essential.
