For the third year in a row, Redecam participated in the Federación Interamericana del Cemento (FICEM)’s technical congress. This year the conference was in Mexico City, Mexico. FICEM is an association uniting cement producers and institutes in Latin America, Spain and Portugal.

“Redecam has been going through such positive change this year, that other FICEM members were very interested in talking about our company,” said Andrea De Finis, responsible for Latin America. “They were impressed with the evident strength of the company, both from a financial and a business target point-of-view,” he continued.
“It was a great opportunity to meet long-time Redecam clients and discuss current and future projects. We also talked about Redecam’s expanded portfolio, which is of growing interest to the cement industry as it seeks to improve air filtration and overall air pollution control efficiency.”
Indeed, one of Redecam’s long-time clients was the subject of this technical conference’s plant tour. Participants got a close-up look at Cemento Moctezuma’s Tepetzingo facility in Morelos, around 100km south of Mexico City. The plant, owned by a subsidiary of Buzzi Unicem (Italy) and Cementos Molins (Spain), operates two kiln lines – both of which are serviced by Redecam Electrostatic Precipitators. Over the years, Redecam has proudly continued to supply the Tepetzingo plant with its air filtration systems.
