Redecam Group supplied highly environmentally friendly air filtration equipment to Cementos Moctezuma’s Apazapan plant in Mexico in February 2015. Commissioning is expected in the fall of 2016. Redecam had previously supplied air filtration solutions for the plant’s first line.

For this new line, Redecam customized a DPL-Model Bag Filter (baghouse) for the kiln with high performing PTFE-coated fiberglass filter bags. The combination of these filter bags, Redecam’s SPS bag fixation system, its Bi-Jet Bag Cleaning System and Redecam’s special filter bag cage design offer emissions reductions far exceeding the world’s most stringent requirements. A second baghouse, this one a DPH-Model, was customized for the raw mill. An RF-Model Gas-to-Air Heat Exchanger was designed for optimal performance on the clinker cooler.
Redecam also designed 34 Nuisance Filters with their SPS bag fixation system and Bi-Jet Bag Cleaning System meaning they will be amongst the best performing dedusting filters in the world.
